The Hospitaller Brothers run mainly hospitals and clinics in Africa. What many people do not know is that we have long been active in India. Many of the hospitals here are set up by German Brethren, the first in Kattapana in 1969. In India our Santhi Nilayam center that focuses on HIV and AIDS prevention. We support this center this month with 10.500, - for providing information and psycho-social support, pain relief Г©lelmiszer online and care for terminally ill patients.
The center is located in the southeast Г©lelmiszer online of India in Pudukkottai province. They are mostly farmers, drivers and migrants who come for treatment. In the past 3.5 years, there are already 450 people helped in Santhi Nilayam. The treatments are free for the mostly poor patients. After treatment the patients are well aware of the dangers of HIV and AIDS. Thanks to the psychosocial support they talk about their fears and problems, and they can accept their disease better. The aim is also to involve the family of the patient and to accept that the patient is no longer excluded. Them the disease
The center was set up by the Hospitaller Brothers because there was a huge need for this type of specific Г©lelmiszer online psychosocial support. There are not many centers who are committed to HIV and AIDS patients in India. The work in this center, we hope to contribute to the welfare of the patients and the empowerment of these vulnerable people in Indian society. Bit
