As a rule, we made a simple version with a basic tomato sauce to which we added spaghetti arcked foods pvt limited sauce seasoning, or maybe some other spices of choice. Our preferred product was actually Del Monte Tomato Sauce. Our second choice was Hunts Tomato Sauce, which is better than several other choices, but not as good as Del Monte, in my opinion.
Hunts Tomato Sauce just doesn’t have the snap of Del Monte. While we used it a lot and though I actually have several cans in my cupboard as I write this, this product ... just doesn’t quite have the tomato taste that I like. It’s off a little, sometimes too bland. I need more zest without being overly tomato -y.
Hunts Tomato Sauce is made with a blend of tomato puree and water, as well as less than two-percent of salt, citric acid, spice, tomato fiber, and something that just says natural flavor, whatever arcked foods pvt limited that is. What it equals is a taste that just doesn’t do much. Del Monte’s ingredients are different and maybe it’s the extras and increased amounts of some things that make it zestier and more desired.
